Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire fourteen (14) days after the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (e.g., by email) to:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.
Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. In no case will you be charged any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Loss of Right of Withdrawal (Digital Products)
For digital products (such as software, plugins, scripts, and licenses), the right of withdrawal expires once the performance of the contract has begun.
By purchasing and activating a license key, you expressly agree that:
- The execution of the contract begins immediately, and
- You lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the product has been made available and activated.
If you do not agree to this, you must not activate the license key.
This consent is obtained during the checkout process via a mandatory checkbox before you complete your purchase. Once the license key has been delivered to you (displayed on the confirmation page and sent to your email), your right of withdrawal has expired.
If the license has not yet been activated, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days by contacting us at store@arts-unique.com.
Withdrawal and Subscriptions
Initial Purchase
For subscription licenses, the right of withdrawal applies to the initial purchase only. The conditions described above (consent to immediate delivery and acknowledgment of loss of withdrawal right) apply equally to the initial subscription purchase.
Automatic Renewals
Subsequent automatic renewals of your subscription do not restart the withdrawal period and are not subject to a new right of withdrawal. Instead of exercising a withdrawal right for renewals, you may cancel your subscription at any time using the cancellation process described below.
Canceling a Subscription
All subscription licenses renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually). You may cancel your subscription at any time. There is no minimum commitment beyond the current billing period and no cancellation fees.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription using any of the following methods:
- Online cancellation page: store.arts-unique.com/cancel-subscription — available without login, as required by German law (§312k BGB).
- Customer dashboard: Log in to your account and click "Cancel Subscription" on your license detail page.
- By email: Send a cancellation request to store@arts-unique.com including your email address and license key or invoice number.
All cancellation methods are equally valid. You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation.
What Happens After Cancellation
- Your subscription and license remain active until the end of the current paid billing period. You continue to have full access to the software during this time.
- No further charges will be made to your payment method after cancellation.
- After the current billing period ends, your license will expire and the software will be deactivated.
- All active device activations linked to your license will be deactivated upon license expiry.
- You will receive a confirmation email immediately after cancellation, containing:
- The date and time your cancellation was received
- The date your subscription and license will expire
- Confirmation that no further charges will be made
Cancellation Deadline
You may cancel at any time with a notice period of no more than one month before the next renewal date. If you cancel less than one month before the next renewal, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again.
No Pro-Rata Refunds
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for unused days within the current billing period, unless required by applicable law. Your access to the software continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Renewal Reminders
We will send you a reminder email at least 14 days before each automatic renewal, informing you of:
- The upcoming renewal date
- The amount that will be charged
- Your current payment method
- Clear instructions on how to cancel if you no longer wish to continue
Price Changes
If the subscription price changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. The updated price will apply from your next renewal date after the notice period. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date at no cost.
Failed Renewal Payments
If a recurring payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry the charge. If payment is not resolved within 14 days, your subscription will be suspended and your license will become inactive. You may reactivate your subscription by updating your payment method in your customer dashboard or via the Stripe billing portal.
Reactivation After Cancellation or Expiry
If your subscription has expired or been canceled and you wish to use the software again, you may purchase a new subscription at the then-current price from our store. Previous license keys cannot be reactivated — a new license key will be issued with your new subscription.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only granted where required by applicable law, including valid withdrawal requests within the statutory withdrawal period, provided the right of withdrawal has not been waived.
Once a license key has been activated and the digital product has been made available, refunds are generally excluded.
Voluntary 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Independently of your statutory withdrawal rights, we offer a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee on initial purchases.
If you are unsatisfied with the software for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase at store@arts-unique.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
Upon refund:
- Your license will be revoked immediately.
- All active device activations will be deactivated.
- If you purchased a subscription, the subscription will be canceled and no further charges will be made.
This voluntary refund policy applies to the initial purchase only and does not apply to subscription renewals.
